Description

DJANGO & DJANGO (with Quentin Tarantino)
SERGIO CORBUCCI UNCHAINED

A film by Steve DELLA CASA and Luca REA – Directed by Luca REA
With Quentin TARANTINO | Franco NERO | Ruggero DEODATO

Quentin Tarantino, here in the extraordinary role of narrator, explains to us why Sergio Corbucci is “the second best director of Italian westerns”… as is voiced by Al Paccino’s character in his latest film “Once upon a time in Hollywood”.  And this was confirmed by Tarantino’s choice to shoot “Django Unchained” using the original “Django”, the Corbucci movie, as inspiration. Unpublished original materials, on-set and home-movies and testimonies from Franco Nero (Corbucci’s favorite actor) and Ruggero Deodato (Django’s assistant director) and footage from the original films combine in the documentary to relive a unique era.
